This was taken on a slightly stormy day in Elgol on the Isle of Skye off the west coast of Scotland. It’s probably one of my favourite places in the world. On a wet day you can be the only person there. Perfect.

It’s quite a long drive from Edinburgh but on the way you take in some great sights, including Glencoe and Eilean Donan Castle. Worth the drive? Absolutely.
